dlc new outfits item id
i heard you can only get the new outfits after you finished the game 3 times , so what is the point of paying 14 $ dollar for a dlc if i can only use the outfits in arena. i was wondering if its possible to add these outfits at the start of the game with a program like cheat engine

they might of meant passing route c or d to unlock that arena but thats just my guess.

Complete Branch C&D. Then the dlc will unlock.

9S costume is easy to obtain. Just complete the first easy match in the a Forest Arena.

2B costume is hard to obtain. Must complete an her arena, which can be difficult. But as you win more battles, you get items that allows you to change 2B & A2 hair color.

I haven't tried A2 Arena yet.

The arenas unlock as soon as you're able to access to those area, unless you are in certain point in the story that locked out all side quests. The lowest grade match in the arena is labelled as level 25.

And after you cleared the game (counting ending C), you'll be able to select and replay each chapaters. So yes, you can replay the game again if you wish to. Your level and items retains, but enemies won't scale to your level. So it might be a bit boring to playthrough again.

Wrong forum for that.

so i can enter the arena right away when i unlock the area and get the rewards no mather my level or even if i be in the first play through but the only downside is the enemy's will be high level and near impossible to beat

Seriously, just enjoy the game for now, don't bother with the DLC.

That is correct, yes.

So as far as I've learnt, you have to beat those DLC arenas (which can be very difficult unless your level is above 80) before you can get access to the new costumes, correct?

It makes very little sense to me. Cosmetic items are supposed to be acquired as soon as you pay for them, or at least at early stage of the game, so that you can go on with the rest of your playthrough wearing those items. Setting a (absurdly) high level threshold to those items are just stupid. Many people completed their first Nier playthrough like at lvl 30-40. So you've probably beaten the game multiple times when you reach lvl 80. At this point, why would I need those costumes anyway? You pay for the costumes, but can't use them unless you've already completed the game? I just can't get it.

i agree with you i am going to use a trainer that gives you infinite life and attack cheese through the arenas to get my outfits early before i have to complete the games 3 4 times. i think the main reason why the outfits are gated behind high level arena's is the pre rendered cutscenes, i am not sure your dlc outfits is shown in prerendered cutscenes

What's the fun in that? You're just ruining the game and story for yourself.

It is not unless you own DLC - game actually does checks on DLC content and it will either be removed from inventory or equipping it won't do anything. However if you own the DLC you can do as you wish, it is possible to add them via cheat engine.
