Anything to do with this scientist machine at Pascal's Village? Or it's there just for fun time of RNG loot?

Update: just unlocked the shop with 100,000 G invested at second playthrough

yes. after you investing until you cant invest to him anymore... he will sell meteorite shard (weap upgrade material), and after 3rd playthrough ends you can buy meteorite from him. you need to buy that for sure since its the material that needed alot to upgrade your weapon to max and only available by buying em from him. enemies never drop meteorite. even with all quests and treasures opened there is no way you will be able to have enough material to upgrade all your weapon to lvl 4 to trigger secret boss

i think you need at least around 200k gold more. I might be wrong. the last one i think its 120k or 160k

Do it after end game or run through C, because there's inflation and the machine cores you carry will worth more, try to save the machine core for runthrough B/C cos they sell for almost double +
