Nier Automata Favorite Character?

There are many characters in this game and they are all, at least the named ones, unique in thier own way.

Be it Jackass and her 'explosive' personality, Devola & Popola's complete trust and companionship for eachother, or even 2B and her universally appreciated butt.

Who is your favorite, and why?

Mine is Pascal. He leads a town of machines that want nothing to do with war and just want to live in harmony helping eachother and learn from the past and grow. These machines also exhibit very human-like emotions and sentience compared to the other machines in the game.

His story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brutal after End B and fighting the other big machine during that was awesome. Such a great sequence in more ways than one. And if you don't kill him after the children kill themselves in fear and opt to wipe his memories instead, he sells their parts back at the town. Damn that was ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Poor guy.

I think 2B is too obvious but that's most likely due to her harajuku skater dress, 2A is pretty good with the I dont give a ♥♥♥♥ attitude. Kinda wish there's more style into 2A's outfit than the standard combat-kini

A2. There is so much more to her. To bad the game doesn't go into her full backstory. I did enjoy the her and groups back story via text adventure machine at the Resistance Camp. I just wish there was more to her.

Father Servo was another character I Loved! I felt so bad for him in the end.

Type-E YorHa Model in the high rise (side quest). That was extremely dark quest but it left me wanting to learn more about her.

i loved how pod were important character and not simple AI support system like in most of game.

If I have to pick one (which admittedly is very hard), I think it has to be 9S or Pascal.
The amount of punishment 9S recieves and the way he (sort of) gets through it is... Well I can't really describe it. Especially if you consider the novels and their implications.

Even the ending sequence D is just devastating, as A2 just dies silently, in peace, while 9S is at his worst, dying desperate without really solving anything and knowing it full well.

As for Pascal I just second what Creamy Goodness said.
I still think 9S gets the worst, despite the kids.

I'd like to say 2B but she doesn't get enough exposition/screen time.
I really love A2's attitude though. Gonna be a pleasure playing as her with the DLC outfit later (if they actually patch the game.)
