Can ranged attack crit?

Built a +70% ranged damage chip set (stacked with a few common ones) for easy travel + platform level kiting, I got a rare crit chip as well was wondering if the crit chip works on ranged attacks from a pod?

i didnt even see if my works with melee xD so i suppose better is pure dmg then crit.

True I dont know how crit works in this game lol and the crit is in single percetnage probably better to go flat %
