Do you think this game is souls-like?
ive seen a lot of things from my only souls game (prepare to die edition) and it seems like this game has made some references to it (like the quest of robo dojo when you beat him it says "not to shabby, not to shabby at all" same as the cresfallen warrior.Do you think this game has similar things to souls-games,nothing, or a lot?

nothing

There is nothing to compare as they are completely different games in every way. I think you are grasping at straws in regards to the similar line when the context is completely different.

So, no.
The only slight similarity to a souls like is that you lose you leave a body (a la bloodstain) when you die and if you fail to retrieve it you lose the chips you had equiped at time of death. Instead of xp like souls are, chips are closer to perks or skills.

That is the only similarity.

This is either bait or very cringe.
Either way, your question has been answered
that´s what i was talking about some mechanics like that were similar, dont know why so much salt

Probably because you are a bit simple in the head.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i was just talking about similar mechanics,im not going to say "oh,this game is the same as metal gear:rising because is a hack n slash" nut i was trying to look at minor details like that mechanic of recover your body and things like that which are somewhat similar to dark souls saga,i could look a bunch of other details from other games, the thing is that dark souls is the one i noticed in a lot of things like the message i put in the description (it can have nothing to do with dakr souls but the phrase is very similar and wanted to share that).

I could make the comparison that this game is similar to Club Penguin because they are both masterpieces and claim it is a Club Penguin-like game because it has animals in it and therefor any game that has animals in it like Skyrim or Fallout are Club Penguin-like. But then I would be acting like you.

i wasnt talking about THAT things,i was talking like UNIQUE characteristics from other games, like for example the recover your body mechanic, not simple things like "it has grass" or that things,i think i was misunderstood with my title and description

They way you phrase your sentence hinted that, at most, Nier reference Dark Souls. Not a good souls-like comparsion example. And to the answer to your question.

Not at all. Aside from similar mechanics, (in which in this day and age, many game does), it has no resemblance of a souls-like in terms of world building and/or exploration. Even the basic combat mechanic is a whole entirely different beast to compare.

PS: the mechanic of recovering your body is more in line for thematic reason than a souls-like feature they intentionally implemented.

oh well finally someone who understanded my topic, the thing is i wanted to see what other things were similar to dark souls (they are probably from other games but many things they are not so common to know and people think they are from another game) but still wanted to see things people had found from dark souls,as from any other game i could ask for
Greslus May 19, 2017 @ 5:57pm
But well, there are a few more reference to Dark Souls (in which I won't spoil) that may hinted Yoko Taro may be a Dark Souls/Bloodborne enthusiast. Which is good since I am one myself, heh.

Some bosses have a Souls-like backstory and i think that both games take place in an already devestated world that can only get in worse shape as you play
The last area of N:A really reminds me of Anor Londo/Duke's Archives

Idk why people are flipping out. @op I actually like this question
Raith May 20, 2017 @ 5:42am

The amount of people trying to compare every game to Dark Souls is driving me bloody insane.
