Remote Play Together - Split Screen?

Hi, yesterday I wanted to try this game with 2 other friends

Is there any way when I share my screen, my friends play with User 2 and/or Users 3 instead of the first character?

I ask because yesterday they were both moving the first player with keyboard and mouse, but not the other players, even plugging in a joystick (in their ends) they still couldnt control the other two.

Yeah, tried it with a friend too. with the same outcome. What we did not test - too lazy - was to connect a controller on the host side, and give the second player controller usage. Maybe that works.

Players who are connected to a host machine using Remote Play Together can only use gamepads to play. You should be able to go to Options > Splitscreen and have your friends "sign-in" using their gamepads. You can also choose to have Player 1 use Mouse and Keyboard.

we couldn't get the remote player's gamepad to work until the host plugged in one at his pc. This was with the demo though.

Any chance those players able to change their name beyond the character name they make. its weird seeing my name across all 4 players.
