Auto Aim or Aim Assist

My daughter has been enjoying trying the game with me, but she finds it really hard to aim with a gamepad. Hell even I need a good session to get use to it again, because I usually use a mouse for fps games..

Just wondering if Auto Aim or some aim assist will ever be added for coop or split screen (what we play) modes. Just so it is easier for kids, maybe even make it per player.

Some of the weapon attachments say they give auto aim, no idea what it's actually doing though.

There is some auto aiming build into the game as a whole! I'm sure to notify the devs about this though.

As Ftothekman kindly pointed out, there is auto aiming built into the game. I'll get back to you about this once I find out some details.

There is Auto Aim in the game currently, it is stronger when offline on the Casual difficulty. We may consider making a cheat or something that can increase it even further to help less FPS experienced players be able to contribute more. :)

Autoaim toggle to behave like Tomb Raider, where - if you zoom in (aim) while in a general direction of your target - the game moves your crosshair over the target, so you can basically always start shooting right after zooming.
The cheat part could boost Autoaim even more - make it sticky so it tracks the target while you are holding zoom/aim.

Same here, i'm playing with my wife and my daughter and tbh they're not good with a gamepad. Would be much more fun for them if it would be easier for them to make kills.
(a cheat would be too much, maybe a setting for the individual controller?)

This game needs aim assist. The KBM players have a huge advantage over controller players right now. I play both controller and KBM on many games and on this game I play much better on KBM and do Ok with controller. I feel I have equal skill with ether or when there is proper aim assist.
