From the description specifying 'Ancient Kyoto', I would think that this might be during Sengoku Jidai, especially since that was both the height of the samurai, and the period where a lot of old Japanese horror legends were born. But then, watching the trailer, I noticed the presence of revolvers and rifles, which implies early-to-mid Edo period... Certainly shadow-bound and mysterious times, but distinctly different. So, anyone like to share when this movie takes place, please?...

Is this good? Worth buying? Ooooooh I'm a fan of period dramas!
