Game does not start

When i start the game, i get a black screen. it is top of evertthing.
Windows 10 64bit up to date
i7 6700k
16gb ram
gtx 1060
nvidia driver up to date.

Me neither. I just get a small black box and the game never starts.

Just got this laptop over the weekend and its fully updated.

OK I figured it out. I found .exe for the game, right clicked selected Troubleshoot Compatibility. I set it up so it did Scaling on high DPI and was set to Run as Administrator. That got it working for me.

Game freezes for me with the 8floor logo appearing. Can't even activate Steam overlay.
Funny thing is when I activate Xbox overlay (WIN+G) then the game processes normally to the menu, but when I deactivate the overlay it freezes again.
Have the problem with 8floor's Mahjong game too, but Katey & Bob starts fine.

Tried above points already (and others like forcing the game to start in windowed mode, but that didnt work), no change.
