Still trying to figure this out..

Some questions:

I've given it a few playthroughs and I'm just trying to get the general gist of how the game works. When you enter the house one way, he seems to block that access next time round. He time he catches you, his animations change and you have to change your play style. Is it basically like solving different puzzles each time? Is he scripted to behave in certain ways which allows you to infiltrate his home in ONE way? Or is it more sandbox where you can actually do it multiple ways?

Also, how early on can you get into the basement? Do you have to be caught a few times for different opportunities to arise, or can you pretty much do it from the start if you're smart enough?

Ok so first of all he learns from the stuff you do like: You go from the front door or break window enter the window?? He will block the door and/or the window. (The front doro can be oepnd by ringing the bell and runnig away until he goes back in. For the windows jsut get the hammer/crowbar to remvoe the planks)
Secondly you cant do it super early. You can unlock the lock and remove the planks from the basemnt from the first round but you have to get caught/sleep to make the blacklight appear so you can find the code (note that if you know the code already you can do it at the first round)

I thought I had it but I don't anymore. I can get in his house easily now, and I think I've blocked all the exits but somehow he's still getting in. The door next to the basement can't be blocked with a chair for some reason..

He enters through the windows. He breaks them and enters if you wanna completely wanna lock him out do this. Break window and enter and let him catch you after that he should have used planks to block the window and do this for everywindow you find. After that just block all the doros and he is locked out side. If you want a simplier way (useing a bug but note that it will ruin the whole game experience) just grab the TV by your car, get close to his house turn it on and throw it. He will go outside and just stay there with the TV.

I was getting into a bad habit of turning my tv on, then running over to his house before he came out to investigate. It gave me a good bit of time but still, he ended up grabbing me. I'll try not to do that, but thanks for the tip. May come in handy if I really can't do it!
