I'm confused about the ending, help!

So, I finally managed to get into Mr. Neighbor's basement and through the shining door at the end. Once I finally went through...I was greeted by a brief cutscene of the playable character in his house, picking up his suitcase, opening the door and...that's it.
Did I do something wrong? Is that really the official ending?

That's the ending of that version, there are no more endings in Alpha 4, or at least no one has found any...

The cutscene is backstory to why you moved in front of neighbor's house in the first place. Because the game isn't 100% complete this is the ending for now.

I keep seeing videos about alternate endings online, but I haven't watched any...I'm confused.

It doesn't explain much of anything. The clip is like 10 seconds long.

There's like another 3 second ending, but it's tedious to get and not really worth it.

How do I get to it?

You have to get a seed (No-Gun Room I think.) Plant it outside (Dirt Patch), Pour water over it (Watering Can + Sink.), And then wait a few hours (Yes, HOURS) or use the trainer, A tree with a golden apple will grow, shoot it down or use the trainer to fly up there, grab the apple and go to the gramaphone on the left of the map (Past nieghbor's fence.), A really short cutscene will play.

Do I have to wait in game or can I just exit out and it will grow a few hours later? 'cause I could just leave the game on for a few hours and wait for it to grow ^_^
Also, what is the gramaphone?
