watch jacksepticeye hello neighbor part 3. He rage quits due to a bug
Yeah. I love this game and it’s one of my favorites. It didn’t fully live up to the hype, but it is still a great game. I hope this will go down with at least mostly positive reviews.

When you´re a bad developer looking for quick bucks just based in some overhyped youtubers whose audiences are basically whimsical kids (when there are much more complex and less bugged games for half the price, that also don´t pretend to be videogames gurus with "an AI that can learn from you" that now we know is just a bad programmed joke) your destiny is to be forgotten.
Awwwwh, when you said "they´re not Bethesda" you noticed that, I don´t know, Stardew Valley was created for JUST ONE PERSON?
Also to break down a few more of your misconceptions.
Budget: They were giving a lot of time but tinyBUILD and funding to back it as well even allowing for delays to the original launch.
Time: See above comment
Fan base: Who cares the only people that give a damn about a fan base and use it as an excuse fail to understand the medium of gaming as a whole
Story: Before you start working on a game you should already have your story in mind so if this was reason for delays and the quality being low then they had no idea what they were doing in the first place.
Making objects: There are tons of physics based puzzle games that do this infinitely better and it doesn't take much.
Making animations: Have you seen this game.. I'd hardly use this as a point especially since many were dumbed down over the course of development.
Controls, functions, etc.: The options as well as controls are the most basic
AI: The AI was better in past unfinished builds.
Its at this point that I don't believe you actually know anything about game development
