Stuck at "Press Enter to continue"

I've verified local files to no avail. I've tried pushing every other button on the keyboard out of frustration and nothing happens. Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue. I have no idea WHY this is happening.

Reboot this worked for me but don't expect the rest of the game to be any less glitchy :/

Having the same problem. We tried rebooting, reinstalling, and rebooting again. Still can't get past the "Press enter to continue" screen no matter how many times I press Enter.

Same problem here. Rebooting did not help.

So I got it to work by unplugging any controllers I had plugged, as well as my Mayflash adapter, and then restarting the game.

Unplugged and turned off my Xbox controllers and restarted and it worked.

Iv'e had the same problem. There are two reasons that this could happening.

1. you are using the humble bundle version. to fix it you need to download the steam version, which you get a free key for if you got the humble bundle version.

2. It could just be a glitch, reinstall the game.

Do you have your controller plugged on your PC? If you have,unplug it. I got this before then i unplugged my controller and BOOM it worked.
