Hello Neighbor is not scary anymore
I noticed that the early builds actully gave me the creeps and scared me a lot but now the game is starting to just have a big story and they give you a really easy way to know that you are being chased yes the old music was loud and let you know he was chasing you really easily but now the chase theme is just too adicting and not something that makes you ♥♥♥♥ yourself everytime you here it tiny builds please make the game scary again and not just a dude who might scare you if you don't here the TWO warnings why have chase music that isn't scary when you have instense music that makes you just wanna keep on running?

LOOL, yes i agree with mcnichoj XD you obviously have no clue about the horror genre if you even fathom the idea that "what kind of horror game has boss battles..." like mcnichoj said Resident evil is a BIG one but all capcom horror games have boss battles. resident evil,silent hill, dino crisis, .etc but not just capcom makes horror games with boss battles there are a CRAP ton of other developers that do as well. And so if you even ask that Question... im not really gona take you up on your word that this game isnt suspencefull and scary if you dont even have much experience in the horror genre to begin with

The game is not meant to be scary. Its a indie game. TinyBuild said that has a bit of horror,but not that scary. Just deal with it,its not a horror game,its a indie game.

Only thing scary is the 2 freezes and 1 engine crash in the 1st 25 minutes of playing. Am sure the alpha and beta builds were more stable tbh.

ok yes but this game at first wasn't gonna have a boss battle it was just finding out who or what was in the basement but after alpha 4 they were adding a boss

You don't really need to keep bumping up your thread, if you don't enjoy the game as much as you used just move on.

I'm guessing you're young spyz but this is what you should expect from life as you get older. You'll gradually just stop liking things you used to like. :balloonicorn:

I didn't play any of the Alphas or Beta, so I can't really compare them. However, I don't find this game scary at all because it doesn't matter if the neighbor catches you. It takes 15 seconds to get back where you were when you were caught. You don't even lose any items or anything. It is at most just a minor inconvenience to get caught. I haven't finished the game yet, though. I just started ACT 3. Maybe it gets more important to not get caught?

I like the old chase music more but it doesn't match the new artstyle, neither does the new one, its sounds like a south park outro really. It should be a tuba instead of bass and some strings that go up and down really quickly every now and then. And the neighbor isn't scary anymore cause he is advertized as this lovable character with plushes and nick named Mart or Mr. Wilson, instead of being a down-right evil being with dark secrets in his basement, its a shame...
