So.. is it worth it if it's just that?

So.. is it worth it if it's just that? i've seen Markiplier played it and it turns out it just some kind of puzzle solving game to clarify the story (which is still not clear until now). I've played the Alpha (the free version from the website) which is really boring.. Is there going to be like a story mode where we really 'need' to do something or just solving puzzles to clarify the story?

Because if it's just puzzle solving and trying to get away from the neighbor (just like what the game is now) i don't think it's worth buying :/

The game might feel 'cheap' in your country, but in my country the price is Rp200.000,- (which is $15 USD) is A LOT. But in some countries $15 seems cheap :/

correct me if i am wrong though. Maybe i'll change my mind.

I have to admit I'm curious what AAA game you bought recently.

Well it's $30 USD in the USA, but I'm also curious.

I'm sure there will be a grand objective and something much more fleshed out, I mean there has to be.

I think an even larger issue is how the game hasn't been suspenseful since the first alpha, since it keeps selling itself as some kind of suspenseful horror game. The AI never seemed to improve and the larger the house got with each alpha release, the less you had to worry about the Neighbor.

that's what i meant. if the game have a 'real' objective and 'real' improvement i'll buy it for sure. But now the game is like solving puzzles that you don't need to do (or told to do). Or just spend time running around and seeing how fast you can get away from the neighbour..

Tekken 7 is the only game that i bought recently.. and i ain't regret it.

i know there's a refund feature but the 24 hour refund pending is kind of annoying (and sometimes it took days)

I'm assuming you're talking about the locked rooms, they were kind of cool, especially the "closet" one. It still doesn't make up for the lack of any real suspense in the main house brought on by bad/buggy AI, but I'm trying to avoid any possible footage of the finished thing so for all I know there's evidence that my complaints are taken care of.

You make a good point about the bad/buggy AI making it less suspensful. And yeah I meant the locked rooms I was trying to be a bit more vague for obvious reasons.
