Hello everyone.

I wanted to start these development diaries with something very simple:

Why did I decide to make Pro Endurance Series: Running Manager?

I’m a runner.

I love running events, discovering new cities through races and, above all, the unique atmosphere surrounding a marathon.

The days before the race.

The preparation.

The nerves before the start.

Hundreds or thousands of runners waiting on the starting line.

The volunteers.

The aid stations.

The streets filled with people.

The attacks during the race.

The final kilometers.

And that feeling when you finally cross the finish line.

What always surprised me was that, despite running being such a huge sport all around the world, I couldn't find a video game that really captured all of that.

There are great sports management games.

There are games about cycling, football and motorsports...

But I wanted something different.

I wanted a game where you don't just manage a single athlete, but an entire team of runners — their training, preparation, goals and season.

A game where you could also experience the race itself.

Watch groups form.

Decide when to attack.

Manage the pace.

Handle aid stations.

React to the weather.

Watch positions change kilometer by kilometer.

And most importantly, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of running events and major marathons.

This project also started during a very personal moment.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to run for the entire year.

And although that has been difficult, somehow it became a motivation to stay connected to the sport I love.

If I couldn't be out there running a race, I wanted to build one.

And that's how this project started.

Because behind what you see on screen, there is much more than simply making a video game.

I have to understand how a runner prepares for a marathon.

How a race works.

How groups behave.

How pace changes.

How fatigue affects performance.

How weather and aid stations can change a race.

How an entire season comes together.

I'm trying to turn all those little things that make running special into a video game.

Pro Endurance Series: Running Manager is still in development.

And this is only the beginning.

Over the coming months, I want to share how I'm building the game — from the athletes and races to the maps, simulation and everything that happens behind a competition.

I hope you'll enjoy coming along for the journey.

And who knows...

Maybe one day we'll meet at the starting line.
