changing registry doesn't work
Just got this as a reply to an email I sent them, so it is at least on their radar and it will very likely be added in.
You need a hex editor like HxD[mh-nexus.de] or whatever you prefer.
Then you open the Assembly-CSharp.dll file
(Can be found in steamapps\common\Dear Esther Landmark Edition\DearEsther_Data\Managed)
in the editor click ctrl+f to open the search bar
and search for these values 39 8E E3 3F
(make sure to change the data type from text string to hex values or it wont find anything)
and then replace them with these values CD 90 18 40 and click the save icon to save the changes.
HxD should have made a backup of the file by itself but if something get messed up you can delete the file and verify game cache to download a fresh version from steam :)
Now you can open the game but it will still have black bars, all you then need to do is put the game into windowed mode and then use Borderless Gaming [github.com] to make the game use the entire screen.
(You'll get a list of programs in BG. Just click on dear esther and click the box with the arrows going outwards)

You can watch a video like this one to get the general idea on how to do it.
Just make sure you make a backup of the file your editing so you can go back to using that if something doesn't work
hey thanks. I sent you a friend request.
Just using the 3440x1440 resolution listed under 16:9 ratio.
So Landmark currently offers less settings then the original.
I hope this will get fixed soon, a game with such a heavy focus on the landscape should be enjoyable with full panorama view.
