No PC demo?

No, demos are a diamond a dozen. The platforms haven't achieved parity, either. I don't keep track of console boxes, and have no interest in them.

Release of the actual game is imminent. You can make a silly petition or try to guilty arc that 'it's not fair,' or you suck it up and deal with it.

Two seconds of google also tell me that it's not 'just a demo,' but a perk that requires xbone gol- Sony shekels, and it's ONLY on the PS4. For those here who don't know (I estimate about 99% of the steam playerbase don't care or know anything about the consoles), that means you gottta pay an expensive yeariy prescription, and this is both mandatory for a lot of things like multiplayer in many games, but sometimes unlocks totally radical stuff, like a fighting game weeks before it releases, and PS1 games from 1994. Said demo only actually allows access to versus arcade, and becomes inert when the game comes out for real.

Sounds uhhh, kinda poor for a 'demo.' I'd rather practice in rev while I wait, but by all means, blow this thread up with the usual complaint. Oh, wait, you don't even own the game. I hope a mod deletes this thrash, and bans you for wasting those minutes on google.

I love how you think I'm somehow traumatized or "upset" at the idea of not having a demo yet you're the one blabbering on about how it's reasonable for me to get "banned" because I'm just pointing out the fact that there is a demo of sorts available to a different game system (not caring about consoles doesn't change the fact that there is an option in the first place). Personally I'm just pointing out the fact that there is a demo option of sorts since the original topic was most likely referring to the fact that there was a demo option on the PS4 only rather than both systems. Arc could've tried to go for a DLC pre-order thing if they really wanted to and get access to a demo to try the game before it releases on Steam but I get why they won't and that's fine. I severely doubt the original topic creator is upset about this and I can sure as f*ck assure you I'm not really upset about it either.

Not sure about a two day trial (don't own a PS4) but there always is the free 14 day trial on PSN if you're interested.

You must be a pretty miserable person to somehow turn a month long demo that does not require a pre order into a bad thing. "99% of steam user based doesnt know anything about consoles", biggest load of bull I've ever read. I bought a one month ps plus sub from amazon yesterday for $10 and most people playing on ps4 will have a ps plus sub so the demo has literally cost them nothing, unless they are buying it specifically to play rev demo, which I have.

IIRC to get the 14 day one it needed some sort of CC verification, and I'm from SEA, I doubt they're gonna let a SEA CC verify a NA PSN account.

As someone who owns the demo on PS4 there's quite a handful of changes that won't translate properly from Rev1 to Rev2.

Meaning some things like combos that you're practicing on now may not be valid so even though it's not mandatory, a demo DOES help you transition easier to the next version and hopefully something that will be released in the future, I'm just glad I don't have to buy the game twice because of late PC releases.

Also note that the demo has all characters and all maps, it has more content than a lot of full releases these days. It's not mindblowing why it's disappointing for PC not to have a demo.

The point of the demo is so people can train for Evo. That's the only purpose of the demo. Evo is in mid-July. It's to give the US players an extra month to train. Rev2 has been out in Japanese arcades for a month already. They would have a 2 month advantage if it weren't for the demo.
