What is the best equipment pack for big animals?
I want to buy one or two equipment-centered DLCs but I'm not a hunting or gun nerd, so I have no idea what is actually useful and what isn't. I also don't want to spend too much, so i want the chep DLCs.

In the game, I focus mainly in medium to big animals, like big deer species, moose and bears. So what are your suggestions of DLC to help me?

The .300 Canning Magnum is part of the Yukon DLC.

@ topic: The Zarza .308 (against classes 4-6) and the Arzyna .300 (against classes 7-9) make life much easier and are both rather op weapons. Therefore I second the recommendation to buy the Modern Rifle Pack and the High Caliber Weapon Pack.

The base game also lacks class 1 weapons with range. There are three options to compensate this: Virant . 22 (Weapon Pack 1), Zarza .22 (Modern Rifle Pack) or Kullman .22 (Mississippi Reserve).

If you mainly focus 4 - 9 class, in my opinion:

"High caliber weapon pack" - 3.99 euro for class 7 - 9 (it has Arzyna rifle and 1 good pistol)
"Modern rifle pack" - 1.31 euro for class 4- 7 (for Zarza 308 rifle)
and / or
"High-Tech Hunting Pack" - 0.99 euro for bows (it covers all classes)

I've already bought the high-tech pack and I'm really interested in the high caliber pack, but I find it quite expensive (I'm not from Europe). Is it really game-changing or just something cool? Does it actually help me or just give me more possibilities to play with?

It's newer, thats's why it is expensive. In theory, any 4-8 rifle covers moose and bears. Practically........not quite. Arzyna it's way much better. And that 4-9 class pistol too.
You can try this: "Hunter Power Pack" - 2.39 euro for 4-9 class Malmer rifle OR just play, kill some deer till you have 6xxx experience and buy in-game Canning 300 (I'm not quite sure though if base game offers that or you have to buy another DLC map - check your in-game store rifle list).
My top for 7-9 class rifle is: 1. Arzyna 2. Canning 300 3. Malmer

P.S. Attach your bow a rangefinder sight (it's a bug out there without it).

@Carstein83 @sorinrobv thanks, guys. I've already bought the modern rifle pack but I haven't had the chance to try it out yet. I'm still considering the High Caliber pack, but I've already bought so many DLCs these last few days that I'm gonna try them out first. Still, your input was very insightful.
