For me the problem is that using an eye tracker feels uncomfortable and unintuitive. I've been using TrackIR for flight sims and Arma for many years, it's really good and intuitive, and I would love to use it in this game.
But either the devs have some kind of contract with Tobii, or they just don't want to put the effort in to include TrackIR. Whatever the case, they're been ignoring an ongoing petition to add it for years, so I guess it's just normal hunting without tracker for people who don't like eye tracking.
The tobii box should come with a mount that you stick onto the bottom of your monitor with the provided double sided tape. The software is downloaded from the tobii website.
