Having a hard time finding a consistent "spawn" for elk on Layton lakes
As the title suggests, I'm having a hard time finding a good place to, in lack of better words, farm roosevelt elks. Most videos and guides recommend locations in which there are no elks at anymore and can't find an updated one. Many hint to hunt up at the top of Northern Ridge, but nowadays there are only female herds there (mostly). I've found 3 males at Ronachee lake, but they don't seem to respawn and I can't locate a need zone there for those guys, just for a herd of females.

Most of my luck has come up north close to the lodge at Willipeg, but they are so scattered, which makes it a bit difficult, (even though that's part of the game).

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Some spots I often find male elk, always during their drinking time between 5-8AM, I'll use the map below just as reference since I can't open the game right now:

-Chopeeka, I placed a tent near the tower, go west towards the river then south along the river.
-Willipeg, outpost near the lake, go east towards the river, go either north or south along the river.
-Rounachee, lake outpost, go south towards the shore then walk east along the shore, I found a couple of drinking zones along that shore.
-Rounachee, outpost near the river, walk east towards the river then south along the river. If I go north sometimes I find male elk there too.
-High Lake, outpost at the lake, walk west toward the lake then north along the lake shore, I also found a feeding zone near the ground blind north of that outpost.
-Calburn, I placed a tent at the tower on the left, walk south towards the water, drinking zones along the shore.
-Cheelah, outpost on the left, walk east towards the lake, walk south towards that lake (or place a tent there), walk northwest towards that lake (or place a tent there).
-Cheelah, outpost on the right, walk west towards the lake.
-Mount Leviathan, outpost, walk east towards the lake.

Thanks you so much for your reply!
I'll take a look at it straight away. I knew about Willipeg. or at least its there I've been able to somewhat consistently hunt Elk among other animals. I'll have your tips in mind and I'll put out tents and gather the outposts needed!

Hope I'll find myself a big boy soon!

Thanks amigo!
