Take a picture of a fallow deer with Konigsberg lake in the background

Hi all,

I really have issues finishing this mission. There are no spawn points for fallow deer in the area. There is a need zone on the other side of the bridge in the south but this is not in the area...

Does anybody finished this quest already or has any tips for me?

How ma I supposed to end this mission if there are no fallwo deers in the are?!?!?

I completed it be calling them in from the west and then scared them into running east towards the lake. I then tracked them and called them in again and got the picture.

i managed to get a few somewhat nearby in the treeline, then spammed the camera as they ran from me. the lake was barely visible through the trees off to the side, but it still counted. it's getting 2 bears close together and being close enough for a picture that has me irritated now.

I have completed it. There was a decent fallow towards the south east of the lake as I was walking along the shore. I walked away towards the hills that have the wind turbines on them and turned back to face the lake and took the photo.

Do you remember what time they were there? I guess this is a thing on most animals.

I found an old screenshot of it. I had to call it down to the questzone.

It was the first time i even saw a deer close to the zone.

Boi the quest was updated. You just need to take two pictures of one bear! :D

I randomly took a picture of the lake and it finished the quest for me. Couldn't find any fallows in the picture so maybe try? I have no idea why it worked :D

I just tried this and it worked. Thank you so much! I've been working on that quest for WAY to long.

Had a similar experience. Lots of roe deer but no fallow deer to be found, not even a trace. However one time I was running from the southeastern outpost of Petershain towards the lake and was taking pictures randomly in the rough direction of the lake. Suddenly the mission completed. I looked at the pictures afterwards and I could not discover any animal.

I sitting and have found a need zone on the very corner near the windmills, there is a fallow deer up behind me but will not go down to the zone.

I took a picture of a roe deer with the lake in the background and the mission completed haha

This mission is definitely bugged. This was a while back for me but I had taken images of deer drinking/eating, as close as 25m, with water in the background - mission completion did not trigger.

Then I took a scenic shot from an outcrop overlooking the lake - not a deer in sight - and mission accomplished triggered.

For anyone else having this issue the location: -4064.067, -10350.665 - this is where I stood facing the sea and took the picture.
