attach a scope

Can someone help, bought a different scope to put on the 270 but can't seem to equip it,

go to a outpost or a tent and open the storage
then move it from storage into your inventory
close the menu and open you inventory, then find the scope and drag drop it on a suitable weapon in your slots to the right. Sometimes it doesn't work first time, so repeat dragging it.

mind that you didnt buy the scope for the 30-30 or 45-70 lever actions, they have their own specific scope.

Use the 'compatible items' button when picking out scopes or ammo if you're unsure
