Wazzup ,
playin the game almost dsaily and ima huge fan of hunting birds. So I bought every DLC where the duck hunt is included but on every map on every lake. Nothing spawns.. Sometimes im waiting up to an hour for some ducks. First it worked well on every map but with the last updates it kept getting worse. Please Expensive Worlds Team... Increase the spawnrate for ducks <3

same as geese there spawns are bugged after they disabled them during the dog dlc release as tracking one crashed the game. It was suppose to be fixed with the quickfix but it didn't work completely so now we have to wait for the Mexico reserve DLC for the fix

No, it isn't. I currently have 1000 ducks on Layton, 724 geese on Hirschfelden and 354 ducks on Yukon Valley. You're probably just too loud or not looking in the right places. There also isn't a 'spawn rate' per se. Animal populations are kept track of in database files. If you don't believe there are actually hundreds of ducks on your maps, look up your actual population.

You have been playing since 2017 so hardly a large number for either, try again since the dog dlc patch, geese maybe come once an Hour in real time not game time and that's if they come at all. So yes its a Known bug confirmed by the community manager him self on stream.

Ingame time as nothing to do with that. None of my population databases are any older than Jan. 2020. I delete them somewhat regularly, since EW can't be bothered to fix repopulation.

The maps are way too large and animal pop can become way too clustered for anecdotal evidence to hold any weight.
I recommend looking up a way view these files, in order to determine whether or not your population database is broken.
If you don't like what you see, you can simply delete the appropriate files.

I would go into more detail, but discussing certain third-party content has been deemed ban-worthy by EW, since they apparently require a scapegoat for the mountains of unfixed bugs and issues that they keep (re)introducing with every so-called patch or hotfix.

m8 i bought the ducks and cover dlc so i place my waterfowl and wait but nothing is comming. so how could i be to loud xd. Theyre just not flyin over the habitat.

Interressing, I just tested mu own file: 998 duck on Layton, 59 geeses only on Hirschfelden! , 357 ducks on yukon.

Seem OK, save for the very small amount of geeses on Hirschfelden!

Use callers and set some birds to bait them. And you need to hide well.
