Nicely compiled list, but most of my disturbed animals - and by a very wide margin - are from sound. Like 20k that fled from noise compared to 4k that fled from smell and I think not even a thousand that actually saw me.
Maybe the weighting is different between the different animals, but in my experience, sound is still the most important factor to consider all the time.

Ties in with some suggestions I also support, like having a slow, quiet walk, so could actually see something.

Totally agree with you. Especially on the quiet walk part.

I guess sound spooks so many more animals because each time we shot, all the animals in that radius flee.
But I agree sound is very important.

Haha yea needs all of Africa and PF pretty much. Still have to get to those reserves. I am doing all missions, side-missions and get 16 tents on a reserve before I move on to the next.

There is such a mode in the game.

When walking do following:
- Select a weapon
- Hold right mouse button to aim
- Press middle mouse button to remove scope

Features
- Slow walk
- Noise reduced to only white bars
- Even walking trough bushes create only white bars

Negatives
- View is blured at the left and right side

If the OP or someone else with knowledge adds the missing species I will tag it as the "answer" so it gets added to the top of the thread.

Hey man, since you are the OP you can just edit your original post with these. That way it's nice and neat

I fully support this suggestion... I was about to mention it as well...

would be great, and especially if it's a free gift to the community, not a paid DLC...

could be like a Christmas gift or an anniversary celebration gift for so many years ongoing...

and also, create a basic set of animations and introduce a third person view... we are in 2021 soon 2022, and we can's see our own character, or the clothing, or even worse the weapons parts and components... it's sad... just look at GTA and/or RD2 or ESO how they did it and do something even better...
