For those of you who struggles in finding Elks in Silver Ridge Peaks , here is one great spot .
Every visit , i see lots of them . Hope you will find lots also .

U should add a picture further zoomed out no offense

Pic says your in the ''bending forest'', somewhere...

I could figure it out by the shape of the lake but others might not be able too find it

I'm glad you could find it . I'm sure that one that wants to look it up will also find it .
You don't need to be a CSI detective, with the shape of the road around the lake to find it.

To add to the infos , like you mentioned , there is the title of the area AND the coordinates of where i stand. Pretty informative , don't you think !

Next thing to do if not enough is to take each player by the hand and bring them there .

Now, if i zoom out too much , some might not find it because of not knowing exactly which lake it could be because of seeing too many in the pic now . Could be confusing for some .

What times are best for you when hunting at this location.

@ Knumbskull ... It's been such a long time since I've played CotW, ( months ) that I couldn't tell you a specific time,I can't remember, sorry. I just go around all my spots during a hunt, during the hunting day.
Maybe try that spot early morning.
Sorry again for not having a specific time.

I found the spot easily enough but all I ever see there is cows. Irl the bulls would be somewhere nearby, maybe following the cows but not here for me.
