First off: Whats the best way to find them? Im low level so no lures yet...
Second: Where do I shoot them? I aim for the head but they never die with one shot

Im super frustrated by this, please help me out here

Don't bother looking for them without lures, hunt something else and level up

Head shots don't work well in this game. I assume you only have the .243 available? Use the polymer tipped rounds and aim for the lungs from the side.

There are some good starter guides maybe you want to take a look there, too. The game isn't very beginner friendly as it doesn't have a proper tutorial. And you can always ask here, of course.

Animals have lot smaller brains and thicker skulls than humans...
Scroll this page up and see guide tab, everyone should to do it before they mess their profiles...

lung shots are the way to go in this game.

to learn it it might be better to just go out and hunt instead of doing missions.

the lungs are located just behind the front legs on most animals.

check guides by zaggidk or flinter on youtube if you don't like reading. and feel free to ask away here too. :)

I know, but you don't have to do any mission right away. Keep all missions in mind, but prioritize according to success expectations.

Headshots are not very good, because the brain of all animals is too small, beside the skull is very massiv, so a bullet does not penetrate enough. If you do headshots you have accuratly aim between the eyes and that is a small field of target. Aim at the lungs and use a big caliber, the .243 is the worst idea you could have hunting boars! A good spot for hogs is on the river, they do like thicked brushes and so from the river you might be more successful
