PS4 - Layton Lake District Arc Trophy - Bugged or deliberate trip up? (SPOILERS)

I've just finished the last available side mission at Layton Lake after completing all of the story arcs and the Silver Trophy didn't pop. (10 side mission each except Doc - 30 side mission)

I presume its one of two things -

1) A bug. In which case do you know of any work-around to trigger it.

or more likely -

2) It's because of the Trampfine Story Arc where I shot Mr Black (for Hope #6) before taking a photo of him (for Trampfine #5) although shooting him did pop the trophy for completing both Hope and Trampfine story arcs. If this is the case, during a 160+ hour playthrough then it stinks. Traps like this in multiple hundred hour playthroughs are harsh.

Do the devs think I'll play through hundreds of hours again to correct it? The other downside is now I'm heading back to Europe, I will pay less attention to the trophies there and maybe just have a few hours on the main arcs (Platinum now out of reach). I'm not totally trophy/objective driven with games all the time, this one is great overall (even with the general bugs) but I do find the objectives/trophies help drive it along, giving you specific reasons to hunt.

I sort of 'Hope' it is a bug at the end of the day, 'cos I blimmin' well love this game.

I did get the silver trophy on my PS4, but I never shot Mr. Black so this may be the reason for you not getting it. It really does seem harsh to ruin the trophy after all that game time since it tells you that you have the option to kill him or not. Doc even said he's the bear looting the outposts after I took the picture.

I completed all the missions (PS4) too in the Pacific Northwest and did not receive the Layton Lake Arc trophy. The last mission I had to do and completed was Vualez#10. A real bugger but finally got it done yesterday. Should have been awarded the LL arc trophy and the Hunter trophy since it was my last mission. A big bummer after all the hours I spent playing and an achievement I would have been proud to get with all my efforts. I completed many of the primary and side missions at there hardest requirements before they did the updates and made many of them much easier to complete, bummer,

I am near the end of story arc missions but I don't worry too much about side missions, only got some of them done, as they are not required for the silver trophy - I am curious as to whether I will get the trophy or not.

After saying in the op that there was no way i'd do it all again....I did.
I backed up my save and then started Pacific Northwest again from new game. I generally ignored the side mission and had the final silver and Platinum trophy ping on a photography mission quite a way in before i'd even finished all of the main missions....Wierd.
I'd love to look up which mission it was but Patch 1.12 has erased all of my mission progress. (It was the moose missions guy, can't remember his name now)

EW/Avalanche has really dropped the ball this time.
