Unable to start game in offline without internet connection....

Hope someone can provide and answer for this one, I've just updated and bought the DLC content.. Now unfortunately I'm unable to run the game in offline without an internet connection, I get an error message unable to login in to profile... once the profile is logged in I can then disconnect the internet and the game will switch to offline mode. but where I use the PS4 I dont have an internet connection so essentially I have a game I can't use... anyone else have the same issues??
