Xbox family sharing - stats are blending across accounts

I purchased COTW on Xbox One disc for Christmas 2017. My wife and I love the game. We would play together and take turns roaming around shooting animals and doing the odd mission.
Then I noticed that she started to get hooked on COTW and she basically took over the game.

We also have a Xbox One S. We had to buy it, so the kids could play their games while my wife played COTW. I found out that you could share a digital game through 'family sharing' on 2 Xbox One consoles, so I bought the digital version of TheHunter: COTW.

I'm logged in with my own account and trying to level up to 60 and catch up to my wife.
But I've noticed that the 'Hunting Profile' stats are combined. My account shows 7500 harvests, but I'm only at level 14. I couldn't even afford that many bullets (unless they were the .243 freebies). When my wife logs into her account, it shows 8250 harvests at level 60.

The other issue I noticed was my Trophy Lodge. I was fortunate enough to shoot a diamond Gemsbok on July 14, 2019. I didn't have enough cash to taxidermize this diamond, so I used the 'Save Harvest' option. Last night I went to put my diamond in a lodge and I noticed that I had two lodges available. I entered into the first lodge and realized that this lodge is my wife's lodge.

I then entered into the Trophy Manager to look into my saved harvest mode and could not find my diamond Gemsbok. If my wife has paid for the taxidermy, my diamond will now be mounted in her lodge. I will have to check the dates and scores on the Gemsbok mounted in her lodges.

The next issue I just discovered is in the 'World Leaderboards' stats, under animals. When you first log in you can look up the stats of individual animals. I then went into my Trophy Lodge and when I tried to go back into the 'Animal' World leaderboard to refresh my memory of the diamond date and score, the 'Animal' option was greyed out. Maybe if I exited out of the 'Codex' and got back in it would work.

Since I have purchased two copies of the game and we play on two different Xbox One accounts, it would be nice to have my own stats to follow.

weird, my son and i play the same way. Our stats aren't combined, that i've seen, i'll have to check tonight and see, we don't pay much attention to stats.

My wife and I looked closer at those lodges. They are not set up like her current lodges. We even deleted a low-level piebald reindeer in my lodge #1 and then logged into her account to check her lodge #1 and we found that the piebald reindeer was still present in her account.
So it looks like the game started me off with all of her stats, her 2 lodges, and harvest manager lists. But it doesn't have any connection to my wife's account anymore.

The developers will need to verify all new accounts start at zero. It's too bad it didn't start me with the same money that my wife's account had at that time ...

My diamond Gemsbok is still missing though. It shows up in the Leaderboard stats for the animals. I have a picture of it on my phone, but I can't find it in my 'Saved Harvest' list nor has it been taxidermied.

Hello again everyone,
I needed some in-game cash to buy the 300 magnum and my wife suggested Parque Fernando.
When I arrived in South America, my Huntermate was showing the hunting lodge mission. When I checked into the missions, I could see that many missions were already completed. Again the game started me at the same spot as my wife's mission points, not at the beginning. The only place that has the missions starting from the beginning was Layton Lakes, and my wife said it was reset during a patch.
It would be nice if the developers could reset all of my missions in all of my reserves, so that I can enjoy the game as they designed it.
