Single Player Only ?????

I bought the game today for ps4. I don't have the console yet but was planning to get it soon. I knew the game was multiplayer so assumed you could play online along with multiplayer on the console if not online with others at your house. When I got the game home I noticed on the back that it said 1 player and 2-8 network players. I am very disappointed if this is the case. I bought this hoping we could do a multiplayer game with the family. It seems like this is not the case. Does anyone have a for sure answer to this?

Trying to follow what your saying, I assume you mean you want couch co-op that kind of multiplayer where you can play on one single console(splitscreen)..? While I would love to see that feature no it's not included just online with people on other consoles over a network.

It's a very addicting game just give it a chance, who knows maybe one day couch co-op may become a feature but that'll be a long time as it's a small development team.

Yes thats what I'm talking about. If I wouldn't have already opened it I would take it back. To have a multiplayer game only over network is strange to me. I can't understand not making it where it can be multiplayer on one single console.

Split screen on a game with this much demand for CPU and GPU resources is pretty rare these days.

I would think it would take a very powerful system to essentially have two instances of the game running at the same time such as is the case with split screen.

It would be great to have though.
