Multiplayer Connection Timeout

I am not able to connect to multiplayer sessions. Friends cannot join my multiplayer sessions. I have noticed this behavior since 3 weeks ago, yet in October, it was not so!
When I want to join the multiplayer session, I get a black loading screen and, after a while, I get the Connection TImeout popup with the Main Menu in the Background.

I have checked all the FIrewall rules, the game is still allowed. I haven't touched those lately.

We have the same problem, tried port forwarding and didn't work either

I believe it has something to do with the new apex feature they added that made the game cross platform between steam and epic because even the server filter no longer works to find close servers i only see long distance players from like china etc. and there pings show up real high if you connect in there sessions

I found the solution. The game seems to now verify not only your windows time but also your timezone, which is nasty if you roam around with your laptop without having windows time service on and you don't synchronize your time and timezone.

Anyway, I tried to run the game without windows time after adjusting the timezone and time and it worked for me.

I am not sure if you have had this issue recently, please do not forget to update the time of your pc, if you live in a country where you change from summertime to wintertime. Just right click on your clock, adjust date/time and click synchronize time. If that didn't solve the issue, you might be having another problem :) I hope this helps

A friend of mine tried to connect with the VPN to an American provider and everything works perfectly. Connecting with the VPN to a European provider does not enter any server created by players. I think the problem is local Italy/Europe and it depends on Steam or European providers, as we have the same problem with "Way of The Hunter"

Done several tests including opening a server with your PC by hosting it on Farming Simulator 22. Everything ok and works great. The only but important difference is that I didn’t buy it on Steam and use its client to play. The problem is Steam in Europe/Africa, because with VPNs in America it works and you can connect to servers.
