Chopeeka Outpost issue

Hi,

I discovered Chopeeka outpost and decided to call it a day. Now I started up the game and I was put in High Lake outpost (which I didn't even discover yet) so I was like yay fast travel. So I claimed this outpost too and no matter how much I want to fast travel to Chopeeka I keep getting put in High Lake now. I tried fast travelling to other outposts and those work, but every time I try to fast travel to Chopeeka it puts me into High Lake.

Odd. This was a serious problem for the SRP reserve but whatever fix they put in didn't apply to those with older games. I ended up having to start a new game to get the problem fixed.

do the things you've found stay found in a new game? or would I have to haul ass all across the map again to find stuff? :P

i have outposts i can't travel to also. i forget which ones. i suspect i have a fickle power supply because my rig will instantly crash and reboot any time it feels like it. i've had many corrupt cotw saves because of the instant reboots. i think my saves have been screwed up. luckily cotw has fixed[but how well?] my corrupt saves so far. if i go to a broken outpost the game doesn't 'open' the outposts so i have to atv to them every game play.

I do not have a fickle crashing system soooo its just a broken aspect of the game they haven't bothered fixing?

You loose everything but what is in your trophy lodges when you start a new game.

Most corrupt save files are generated for players using the Steam Sync cloud to save their game. Try doing the following: Uncheck the box for the cloud, run the local game file verification program and then log into the game. I haven't lost anything (progress, exp, $ etc..) or what is in my trophy lodges by doing this but did kill a large number of bugs.

everyone has got this issue. since they corrected the majority of them this one is broken

The problem isn't crash related but is peristent.

What exactly happened?
The fast travel action FROM ANY outpost on Layton TO Chopeeka will actually take you to High Lake.

Did this happen randomly or did you do specific actions beforehand? Could you describe the specific actions you did before?
Bug is specific to the Chopeeka Outpost and doesn't matter where you fast travel FROM.

If you did something specific beforehand, have you been able to trigger what happened again (was it reproducible?)
The bug can simply be reproduced by attempting fast travel to this point. It's fairly self explanatory and the issue seems to be recurrent from earlier patches on different outposts from this one.

How many times did it happen?
As many times as I've tried. Would likely happen infinitely.

i'm in Layton and every time i try to fast travel to Chopeeka outpost it transfers me to High Lake outpost this has been persisting for some time now

Patch November 10th. Hopefully, this bug is resolved.
