[Solved] No login option after skipping first time
When the Avalanche Apex Connect login first appeared I was just wanting to play alone so I clicked to skip the login.
Now I want to play with a friend who just got the game I can not join him or invite him to my game but the login screen does not appear to let me create an account and log in to it!
I tried looking in the options and the top two options for Avalanche Apex Connect are disabled, they appear normal but they can not be selected to change the options.

This totally sucks, before all this my other friends were able to just drop in and out of my game or me drop into theirs any time we wanted.

You don't need an Avalanche account to play the game. At least I haven't in SP mode. I'm consistently given the option to skip registering for it and the game plays normally. Maybe the rules change once you obtain such an account or perhaps you've discovered a MP only type of bug.

But that's the thing, I am not getting the login screen anymore even though I did not create an account. Plus, with it free on Epic right now, one or two of my friends may get it but cross play is only available with the Avalanche account. I can not create an account and log in to it if the login screen is not being shown!

It may be an online glitch so I will try again later but for now my friend, who got it on Steam, is able to create a multiplayer game and invite me to it. I do miss the drop in option of joining a friend. A shame because that was a lot easier than having to set up a game.

After a couple of days the login screen returned so likely a bug their end? Anyway, I managed to sign up now and it logs in to that account.

Now if only the friends list worked! 🤣🤣🤣
