Using a scope spins camera to a fixed position. Can't move aim when scoped.
I have no idea what is causing this.
Whenever i aim through the scope, my mouse snaps to a fixed position and I can't move the aim at all (it just keeps resetting to the center).

Happens with all weapons.

I have the same issue, did you by any chance recently update your nvidia drivers? The game had these issues before with a new nvidia driver, guessing its the same again.

I uninstalled the game entirely and re-installed.
Seems to have fixed the issue for the moment.
Aim down locked to single position
Whenever aiming down the sights, my reticle locks to a specific position & does not allow me to move from said position. Regardless of type of scope. Completely game-breaking as I am not able hunt.

Additionally, whenever jumping or crouching my screen resets to the direction that the reticle locks to.

When using a scope it's best to leave aim mode when changing shooting positions and then reacquire the target. Problem solved.
@nightwalker I understand what you're saying but this is a bit different. It's a permanent locked position while aimed down, regardless of scope or not.
@picsoul - Yeah exact same issue! It's unfortunate that it looks like I'll have to do a full re-install. Hopefully doing a driver update might fix it... Thank you for sharing the link.

Full reinstall did not work for me and neither did updating or reverting my drivers, at a loss rn

I made a point of manually deleting all remnant folders in the STEAM install directory and Documents locations as well. If you don't have cloud saves turned on, make sure you back up your local save data.

Re-watch my video. Aiming down sites snaps the mouse cursor to a fixed position (it will spin you 180 degrees if you're facing away from that point). It's not a gameplay issue; it's an actual bug.
