Battle of Stonecastle Valley

Battle of Stonecastle Valley is bugged for me. I completed all the steps right up to the last one with the letter in the letterbox but I'm not getting credit for the mission. I even tried to go through the whole mission again but there is nothing to interact with. There are no steps showing up on my huntermate either. I go into F5 and the mission still shows as incomplete and no new mission is available.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this request, but is there any chance that the techs could give me credit for this one, or at least let me try a redo?

Stuck on Te Awaroa mission 'the battle for Stonecastle Valley'

I think I've done everything the mission requires, there are no landmarks on the map anymore, nothing turns yellow or is possible to interact with when I approach it. I feel the letter in the letterbox should not remain in there but there doesn't seem to be a way to interact with it, not after the protagonist said I could do with it whatever I wanted. Any suggestions? Should I ask for it to be reset for me?

Incidentally, as a QoL improvement I'd love to be able to see where I am stuck in a mission - just give me checkmarks for the items that are completed!

I can't read the letter, that's the frustrating part! The letter just sits there in the letterbox, I can't touch it. She said something like 'do with it what you want, I don't care' and after that, nothing. So I guess I *am* stuck, if you're supposed to read the letter!

after you pick up the letter, and she tells you to do what you want with it, it should trigger a line about "MM? must be melanie...."blah blah blah. After that you have to interact with the letter in the mailbox AGAIN to read it, have you tried that?

Ok, since this has been moved to the bug reports now, here are my system details:

Windows 10, latest update
i7-770HQ @ 2.80GHz, 8GB RAM, nvidia GeForce GTX 1060

I can share a save file with a dev if necessary! Help is appreciated.

I cannot seem to find the letterbox. The map marker goes to a black kettle.

dont follow the map marker, search for the letter box.

The black kettle is the start of a trail of detritus. Follow that, it'll lead you to the next part of the quest.

Me personally, i'm at the part where you have to inspect the site and its physically not completing that no matter where i go or how many laps i make around the area.

Sorry, 'the site' is a bit too oblique, there are multiple sites involved in that quest. I'm not sure which part you're at.

Have you tried the old 'walk 200m away and see if that resets a marker' thing yet? I did have one point with no obvious marker, after flagging the various props.

That eventually turned out to be a marker on the cauldron, which led to the trail of discarded stuff that took you to the next part of the quest.

i have not tried that yet, didn't know that was a thing.

Edit: I can now firmly say that didn't work, i checked all the cauldrons as well. oh well, i'll just come back later and see if that fixes it.

I'm stuck on the part where i should follow the props, have the marker there but can't trigger anything. Walking away, changing resevers, skipping time etc all those thind did not work. Just leaving it here. If savegame or some other data is needed i will provid it :)
Just goind on an adventure in the meantime until it's fixed
