Weird Deer bug

Not sure when it happened but I recently noticed that the deer, I believe Black tail deer have a weird animation. It looks like as they are walking by that they are having a seizure. Head and necks are twisted sideways and keeps twitching. I didn't notice this before but seems like it occurred with the last patch or update. Just looks weird.

This on Layton? Might be a holdover from the Halloween mission.

Deer Animations are Jacked Up

The animations for Deer seem really messed up. They are twitching and their heads are all warped. This is a brand new install and everything. Anyone else have this issue?

Those are probably Cursed Deers. There's a special quest where a ghost of some kind starts whispering to you and mentions some kind of graveyard. If you decide to follow it, you'll be tasked with the objective of hunting 3 cursed animals, to try to find the source of the curse. I imagine if you don't accept the questline, they'll never spawn, but I'm not sure.

It's pretty crazy, and while I understand it's not for everyone, I think it was fantastic to have that.

ye just complete the halloween missons and they will be gone or wait till the next patch or update drops stopping the halloween event they are now bugged they are part of the halloween misson arc

To be honest, I wish they wouldn't remove those missions. I know the game is supposed to be about regular hunting and not like an horror game, but I love to have it, at least as an option/side activity.

They really nailed it the creepy feeling with all the whispering and weird stuff. It would be cool to have it permanently as some sort of secret easter egg you could activate by doing some stuff.

There should be really some in game notification that those animations are connected to event. I was sure it is another bug. Also many players are asking about it. How should they know.

Animals glitching

Has anybody encountered any animal which just turns their neck and feet uncontrollably ? This glitch or whatever this is makes me miss a lot of my shots . Please respond if this happens to you too or if you know a fix .

animals head glitching out

anyone else has this problem where the animals head is always glitching out making it hard to properly aim for a headshot? or ths is a just the game design lol. if not pls give help on how to stop the glitching animal heads thanks in advance

It's the Layton lake Halloween mission making the animals twitch, complete that mission at night and the twitching etc will stop.

Head problem

Hi there!
When i've started hunting, everything was okay, but in a few hours, heads of animals started spinning or lagging, legs started flying over the animals.
Any fixes ?

no this is the halloween event on layton
change the time to 3 am and wait u will get a halloween misson pop up those animals on ur map are "cursed" once you get the halloween misson then do all the missons and they will be back to normal!
