Weapons and equipment ; unequipable??

Every so often, but more frequently as of late. I find myself unequipped (empty-handed) while in the field. No weapon, no equipment. Cant switch to anything, mouse wheel and number keys can be seen in the hunter hud as switching, but don't show in hand or work. i.e. Have tried firing a weapon, using scents, lures & callers. This happened apparently randomly; While tracking, after a kill and prior too and after harvest, after multiple harvests. at night, in the day. in a blind and in a tower as well as on foot. I have lost both harvests and time tracking or calling in-game when I find myself suddenly "empty-handed".

Any clues on how to fix this while in-game? Exiting and restarting while fixes the issue results in loss of both consecutive harvests and any harvests not yet collected, as well as any travel time and calling time to the end of all the above.

Have you tried pressing the number key for the weapon you want, then pressing H, then the number key again? If that doesn't work then try running the local file integrity verification program before logging in. You should also consider disconnecting from Steam Sync after running that program and before logging in. I always run the program before logging into the game and have not experienced most of the bugs reported by other players on this thread. Hope this helps.

Q1: Yes, while i can move,crouch, crawl, jump and turn. Weapons in hand do not show in hand or able to be used in hand.
Q2: Ran that first couple of times it's happened. This isn't a one-off issue, I generally don't report a bug unless it's an habitual or repeatable one.
Finally you have to be connected to steam sync for this game literally anything you do wouldn't be saved, progression withing the game strictly involves progressive saves bullet for bullet, harvest for harvest. MOST importantly how they measure up to the achievements and other players. including it's previous game, in fact it's more than likely an erroneous disconnect from that very service that is constructing the issue. I've had this happen to be entering tree stand's had to exit game and come back.

I stay disconnected from Steam Sync all the time and have had absolutely no problem with anything being saved in the game at any time over the past year.

same happens to me when i switch guns too quickly. unequipping everything and equipping it again solves it, but by the time i do it the prey run away

i reported this bug already and i just quit the game to report it again but then i saw this thread
