Bug: Plans are derailed - Silver Ridge

Hi there,

I am dealing with a bug atm during this mission.

So, I've travelled to the funicular way shelter and got things fixed there, ( bear crap and broken door). Found the car tires marks etc...
While I was travelling along the rails to get a photo of the broken part, the game crashed.
I restarted the game, and I had to start this mission again. The problem is that the door at the shelter is now shown as fixed, while there is bear crap yellow-glowing inside that have to be removed again.
The narrator is asking to do those steps again, but it's impossible to enter the shelter because the door is not broken anymore.
Basically, the mission was reset, but the door part didn't, so it's impossible to complete the mission now.
I've restarted the game many times etc...but no luck so far.

I reported the exact same issue. My friend played it slowly, all the way through and no bugs, no crashes. But we need the DEVELOPERS to clear the Mission or you never get the next one.

If you fast travel to a cabin far away and then go back to the cabin the mission will complete one step but you have to do it a couple of times before you can inspect the cartracks again so a tent near the cabin is a good idea. It doesn't help all the way throug thoe since the the mission doesn't seems to get completed after you have taken a photo of the tracks. It seams alot of people are stuck here so I really hope a bugfix comes soon.

RimaMaria, first of all Thank you for the tip, I'm one of those players stuck after taken the photo of the broken track, I get Objective Completed (top Left corner) but thats as far as I can get on the same mission.

i am stuck in the same place also, i have seen videos of people going through the mission so i know theres more to it but it wont give the next objective after taking a picture of the track

After cleaning and find the tracks on the side you have to fix the railroad about 2 km forward on the line. The line is broken Fix it and take photos that's all

Yeah,my game crashed in the middle of me cleaning the bear scat on the mission( plans derailed).When I came back to the mission,the door was attached and I am unable to enter the shed to pick up the bear scat.This is preventing me from completing the mission.I have tried everything,nothing seems to work.

We know that. The problem is that once you take the photo the narrator says "I'm on hold with the police" and that's where everything stops. No more narrator, no more missions.

Reload the mission. Normaly after the photo you may have the confirmation of the mission is completed

ive got the same problem ,even tried going to a different reserve shuting the game down restarting and still nothing tried verifying game files to unchecking the game in the dlc tab playing the game without it installed and reinstalled and got nowhere.same ol same ol guess i have to wait till they bug fix it.sorry a lot of people are having trouble with this

I found a fix by accident. My Mission crashed when taking the pics of tracks. Same as others when you come back door is in place and cannot pickup poop. I tried many things, but finally gave up. I drove from Furnicular Mission down over the hill to the highway and made a left turn to go find something else to do (I think locate a tower). All of a sudden Alan's voice pops on saying Thanks for cleaning that up, and then ask s me to go find the tracks etc.....just move slow let Alan finish b4 doing the task.

If you travel to a lodge far away and then back the game completes one step of the mission so when you travel a couple of times you can examine the cartracks and move on by yourself in the mission but the poop never cleans up so can you tell in what part of the mission you walked away ? Did you manage to get the mission completed in the end so that you got a new mission?

Multiple fixes out there. sadly, they work for one person not the rest. set up a tent near shack. Traveled to a house, then back. Alan starts the Mission. You CANNOT pick up poop with door locked. Fast travel to a house, and back to tent, now Alan thinks scat is cleaned up. Asks look for tracks. find tire tracks, easy. now part one shows Completed, part 2 Completed. Now Alan says check rail tracks. Find broken track; part 3 completed. Alan, says take a picture, done. Part 4 completed. BUT/BUT Alan says he will call sheriff & his dad....then it dies. The PDA shows Completed, Completed shows up on screen. But - no credit. Apparently at this point the Mission croaks/dies/fails. You must start all over. I did it 4 times. Tried to reboot game, same thing; reboot stem & game, same thing' reboot PC, same thing.
