Options to turn off missions and tips is broke

I think the options for turning off the mission system and the tips are broken when you switch reserves. I turned them off in Yukon Valley, then after a while I switched to that reserve near Patagonia and now the missions and tips are back and I can't turn them off.

I wasn't aware that missions could be turned off at all. All you can do is simply choose not to do them. The tips can be turned off but during the beta test of the patch I couldn't get that option to work at all. In fact, the darn tip screen stayed up the entire time. Bummer.

Yeah there is an option to turn off the mission system. The problem with ignoring them is that they are on the map and distracting, not to mention, if you happen to go near them you get to hear the babble on the radio about them for a long time, like 10 paragraphs in a row, while you are trying to hunt.
