Cinnamon Teal Parque Fernando.
Cinnamon teal need zones not populating when spotting. I have tried several times in dif locations and need zones won't populate for them. Plus spotting their feathers and or scat does nothing as well.

You are doing better than I am because I have not seen, spotted, observed flying or even heard a teal quack in the last 12hrs of RL play. Not a one on 4 lakes. Did they all fly North for the summer?

Ye since last patch there are barely any cinnamon teal at all on the map and I still need a diamond RIP :D

@xXBlindRageXx... I am having the exact same issue on pc. No matter what I do I can't get Cinnamon Teal need zones on my map. I'm just not getting that "ting" sound when spotting or tracking.

Same problem here....

I have lots of Teal, lucky me.

Cinnamon teal definitely have to be bugged. I find feathers/scat from the cinnamons at almost every lake I go to. Only one of those lakes populated an actual "need zone." Albeit, a resting one from 12 am-5:30 am. So not very helpful. I've gone to other lakes to try and set up where I find feathers and nothing happens. No matter what time of day. One time the game fluked out and just magically 20 metres in front of me some cinnamons appeared out of thin air on the water. That was my one and only encounter with cinnamons on Parque and I have tried visiting every single lake in the map. This needs to get fixed.

Quick update on this. After trying everything in the book to even see some cinnamons let alone have any come into my decoys I decided to switch over to Layton and try some mallards for the first time. First little inlet I visit has feathers and scat all around it. It immediately populated an actual "need zone" (resting from 7:30-9:30). So, I grabbed my decoys and blind and set up along a nice opening on the edge of the pond. Started calling. 1 minute later low and behold here come some ducks flying overhead. What a majestic sight after not seeing them at all on Parque. Managed to bag 6 or 7 in a matter of 10 minutes before heading to work. So, I know it's not me... but the cinnamons are bugged AF.

Yes, I agree the need zones for cinnamon are bugged af. When I first posted the original topic for this I had just bought Parque (Some months after launch, as I always wait for bugs to be fixed.) and right off the bat the need zones weren't working properly as you stated with droppings, feathers etc and animals were freezing in place ie, pumas. As of writing this the bug is pervasive as many others are across all maps of various species (The fleeing bug has to be the worst and Elk shrinking bug.), but these have yet to be addressed and prob will be many months from now before they are addessed. I have slowed my purchases due to the lack of attention to bug fixes and will just buy them on heavy discount from steam when they come up. I love the game and the scenery is gorgeous, but the lack of attention to bug fixes is starting irk me. Hoping I am wrong!

I have often found feathers after seeing a handful of teal fly off. The need zone claims it is from 1.00-1.00 (a very short time!!!), but nothing is actually added to the map. I also had a few "swimming" far up on shore (a good 10-20 meters), as if the ground were water. I also have found teal poo well inland (10-20 meters); this might be realistic, but I don't think it is intended.

yep this bug still exists... also have observed mallard on lake leviathon over on layton that fly into the ground and land under ground.

I'm having the same issue with cinnamon teal on parque. I see ducks but no need zones.

It's the same for Layton ducks:
I regularly spot them on lakes but only rarely get a need zone.
Intended or bug?

I found feathers along the shore of a river in the Yukon in several places but was unable to place decoys near a single one of them. Got a msg telling me decoys could not be placed outside of a valid need zone. When I checked my map the need zone icon was 150 downstream and on the opposite side of the river. I was only able to place decoys in the area of the map icon. Wanna guess where the next flight of ducks landed? Yep, right where I tried to place the decoys earlier (upstream and on the opposite side of the river). The hours on the need zones I'd found (feathers) were valid though.

I'm having the same issue, except I'm not even getting feathers. If I spot feeding or resting teals, then I don't get any need zones from that. Running the entire perimeter of lakes gives me no feathers, despite 30+ teal being on the water. I'm also not seeing any teal flying, and I'm not getting any teal in the lakes on the NW side of the map, despite other players having them there.

I'm unsure about the validity of need zones for ducks. One player has said that we must spot the ducks while they are flying in order for the nearest need zone to imprint upon their travel route. Using the spot on them when they have already landed on the water will not work the same way it does when you put the spot on a feeding animal. Sounds like we have to spook and then quickly hit 'em with the spot. Maybe doing so will actually cause a need zone to appear near our location. As it is, I just carry the .22 cal rifle and try to pot shoot the sitting ducks "way out yonder".
