Fallow deer mating call no noise

I dunno why, but I'll see a fallow deer mating call show up on my screen with the audio wave mark. I used to be able to hear it, but now I will hear nothing. Sound levels are fine. I think this only started happening to me recently and my game has crashed recently as well, thinking that might have something to do with it. I'm not sure how to fix this?

I think it has more to do with how far away the animal is. I have the same thing happen a lot and usually, the animal is not nearby (sometimes 150m or more away).

No it's definitely not distance. I've played this game a while and only just recently started noticing this.

Edit: Well, nevermind I was able to hear the call again, but I had to be very close to them. Could have sworn I was able to hear it way out further than what I can now.

It's definitely a bug, and it happens with different animals as well.
I don't think that your game crash caused this, since my game never crashes and I have those bugs as well.

Sometimes you actually hear the audio, but you don't get the visual indicator.
And sometimes it's the other way round, you see the visual indicator but hear no call from the animal.
It's definitely not a distance issue, since I had this happen with a Red Fox that was around 70 m away (I could see it with my rangefinder).

Just one of many, many bugs, nothing you can do, unfortunately...

Happens to me as well, both types of call bugs w no visual or no audio, different animals, different maps.
