[Trophy Lodge bug / PC] Unable to place Trophies after taxidermy.

After saving an animal using the "Save trophy" option after harvesting and then going to the Trophy Lodge and deciding to Taxidermy the animal it ends up with not being able to place the Trophy.

The Trophies (in my case a blacktail and a wildebeast) show up as Location being blank... and despite trying to use both the plaques and the body stands the trophies do not appear in the list of available trophies to be mounted.

This is very frustrating when we have a good scoring animal and want to display it. My wildebeast is 900+ gold one and I can't even mount it :(

Some have said there might be a delay between when you taxidermy and before they are available (at least on PS4), and I have waited over 24 hours just in case but still not able to place trophies.

Is this being looked at?

Do others have the same issue?

For transparency I have about 20 other trophies that I have mounted already. So it has worked fine up until yesterday (yesterday being april 17th).

Since you have already mounted a number of animals you have no doubt discovered that only the XL platforms will house a Wildebeast so that's not likely to be the problem. The process has been working fine for me all along, incl today. I hit V approach the platform until it illuminates, then hit E. Once I'm done with the pose selection I hit V again and it's a done deal. If you are doing the same and not getting results verify the local file integrity check and see if the bug goes away.

Yeah I am aware that the largest animals need larger plaques and body stands.

That is not the issue though.

Problem is that when I hit V to show edit the placement of trophies and go to an empty plaque or body stand and activate it to place a trophy then the two trophies (with location blank in the list, see the linked image in OP) are not showing up to be selected even.

It's like they are not even there.

I could try a file verification, but it puzzles me since I've played 20'ish trophies before this issue occurred at all.

Sho ga nai take pictures of your animals and show them off to friends or on Steam . Don't count on anything you may be disappointed you could loose everything later on down the road . Just have fun always save your pictures on Steam at least they will be there later on to enjoy.
