hands freezing

played as normal kept comming across the bug where i couldnt bring up any gun huntermate anything at all wouldnt work and it is difficult to bring my hands back so i ended up dying a few times due to unable to protect self

check your key assignments.
Or maybe you pressed ( H ) by mistake ?
Pressing ( H ) will convert to hands and nothing can be recalled.
Pressing ( H ) again should release them.

Or possibly there's a bug I'm not aware of.
I have on occasion had the game freeze and I could do nothing except walk maybe.

I have had this happen to me on several occasions. You can't pull up anything, no weapon or binocs. Nothing. I had to exit game and then come back. Then it was ok. Weird.

There are only 2 places this should SHOULD happen. Medva-Taiga and probably the Yukon. You have to buy the winter clothing and wear it. Use game money.

I've never had a "cold" problem.

Whenever that happens just spam the "H" key. After a few presses it will return to normal.

I have experienced this same issue where I am unable to load any weapons, lures, etc – I travel to a location and select my weapons or anything in my backpack with (1 - 9 ) nothing comes up. The right screen shows that I am selecting a weapon etc but my characters hands are empty. Only way to recover is to jump back in the ATV and exit or fast travel to an outpost. I have not tried hitting H as some suggested but will try it next time.
