not suddenly, this has been happening for a long time. close to a year if my memory is correct, but then again i have a hard time remembering what i had for dinner last Monday. Been a long time though.
Only thing you can do is a grid or similar type search and hopefully find a blood mark, or a body. I've had one quite a while back that the body was 360m and change from where i shot it, with no tracks between and 100% QK. that's hte farthest i've seen posted so far.
You'll also sometimes see a large gap between tracks, i had one 67m once.
Used to be able to spot them, then the blue spot marker would show on the map and you could use that to find their splatter, but then 2 patches ago, maybe 3, the spotting marker on the map moved with the animal, so i started doing what Old Goat posted and spotting them, then marking the spotted marker on the map so i could always find the blood splatter, or at least have a starting point to begin searching for tracks in the rare cases there is no blood splatter.
