Albino brown bear: Historic mission bug?

There are two entrances: east / west.
- If we go to the first entrance to the west, the mission asking to look for traces of poop but there is nothing on 500m ²
- When I went to the second entrance, out of orange area, there were traces of bears but old and not confirmed by the huntermate
- I still revisit the cave that I had already seen before... but no trace
And the albino bear appeared to me from nowhere, I had time to kill him before dying, or rather the opposite, he had the time to kill me before he dies.
So revive at the base and go to the cave, but no trace of his body, no steps, no blood.

Oh, and many Points of Interest that I had already seen seem bugued.
the information reported are false (Like history of train accident, but we are in the cave)

Update: great, it seems like I lost my legendary diamond, so ... :(
and I can not kill him anymore. mission end

I've got the same problem. I shot the bear but I died and when I came back the bear was gone and there where no blood or tracks of him. Now I can't finish the quest....

Hey there. I just checked this out, and I'm making a fix for this mission. I've also added functionality so that you can restart the mission from the beginning if it's blocked for you (this is automatic). Should be included in the next patch. So sorry for the frustration.

Where do Xbox users post for our bugs? Do we just post in the Console Section? several missions wont complete, hunting stands and Poi wont build.

Was this fix released? I just killed the albino in the cave and harvested it, survived and no reward or anything. My huntermate still wants me to harvest the albino ... :(

I shot the albino in the cave and it disappeared, no tracks, nothing. I was able to find a blood pattern with a fatal hit outside the cave near the shack to the northeast but there were no subsequent tracks. I've noticed problems when I shoot an animal before I am instructed to. I was supposed to identify the track of the albino first.

Ok, I had no problems with this mission. I entered the cave from the south, dropped down to a hall with paintings, proceeded further and got attacked by the bear as soon as emerged from the tunnel leading to another hall where bear was standing. It charged past me without hitting, I misfired my bow, but the albino stopped still some distance past me, so I aimed again and shot it easily. I did not see its tracks or droppings

for me there was a bug that the Bear Model was changed for some reason into a Musk Deer one and i shotted it with a Pistol. ofc there was no tracs on the south cave

but I had to come back three times before it was home.

For me the bear appeared as a wild boar so I shot him with a .243, He died with only luck and I got the diamond from him. He wont show in my latest harvests or history. Or even in hunting profile as a diamond.

"For me the bear appeared as a wild boar" like Veikka said. Shoot wild boar, then the mission will complete. Just shoot what you find in the cave. This game have a lot of bugs. This bug is just one of them.

Entered the cave from the south.... 2 times the game chrashed after killing the bear...
Third time i killed the bear and traveld fast to the tent... mission is still active to kill the albino, but there is no albino =( Money from the second try is already gone =(
