Middle Mouse Scroller Wheel Change Weapon

I love the game guys, you have done so much to make it what it is and it is very fun. I have one thing that still i wish would get changed, and I believe it could be considered a bug based on my difficulty in resolving it.

I wish the middle mouse wheel rotation would not change the item in hand. It is constantly going off in error. The assigned item slots 1-9 are so easy to select with the keyboard, there is no need to wheel scroll through the items. I enjoy the quick scope on/off option of the mouse button press, but so often when i try to press the wheel button, it wheel scrolls to a different item, even sometimes just a slip of my grip on the mouse will change my selected item. I have tried to key map the scroll to a different button, (up and down arrow key for example) and the up and down arrow key then change scope/bino zoom, but even after keymap change, the middle wheel still scrolls through items when turned. There is no keymap option to change the scope on/off either. But the main issue is the constant accidently change item with the wheel scroll.

Please deactivate the hidden keymap to scroll items with the mouse wheel.

Better, just add all the functions to the keybinding screen so we can set them up, or not, the way we like.

First off you need to back up the file first just in case this does not work you can replace it.

But in this folder there is a key mapping file you might be able to manually end the keys you click in case you have not tried this perhaps it might work. Check it over before editing it to see how they are labeling each key or mouse button/wheel

Documents\Avalanche Studios\theHunter Call of the Wild\Saves\settings\Number folder

Numbered folder is all numbers but unsure if they vary from user to user so just open that folder you see in the settings and then open the key mapping file in notepad.

I have tried to key map the scroll to a different button, also tried setting other keys for "Previous" and "Next" but even after keymap change, the middle wheel still scrolls through items when turned.

Please make this keybind setting work properly <3
