It is not possible to collect money in multiplayer

I and a friend tested and when we are playing in multiplayer the player who is not a host can not make money by killing any animal and collecting

It's a glitch, money and xp and usually not working on animal kill claims on multiplayer, I have gone to about 7 different servers and restarted both my comp. and game, no results, all the same.

I am encountering this problem also. Pre-patch I know I was making money with my buddies, there are four of us that play. We used to always all play together and make money, now I was just playing and saw that I kept on getting, "0 cash bonus" and found it interesting. So I did the test and verified my steam files and then logged onto my single player game and shot a Elk got myself 984 or something cash. So yah it is something to do with the multiplayer mode now glitching out.

I have no problem making money in MP. If you shoot the same animal, the money and XP will be split according to damage done

but i shoot 1 time and he dead and when i collect the animal if i am not the host i don`t won the money

I was having no problem like you, who ever shot it gets the money.
If both helped kill money is split.
Every once in awhile it would give me zero for my kill but not too bad. I just re-joined and would fix. Tried today and was happening non-stop.

Now I wonder how much money/xp I've lost out on playing multiplayer just not noticing.
Since I don't always pay attention to the earnings.

Just wanted to add this here for anyone that is intersted in future. Gaining money in multiplayer appears to be correlated with your ping to the host. It seems that a ping lower than 60 nets me my money but if I have too high of a ping it seems I am getting 0. To check your ping in game for those who do not know press and hold "i". Happy hunting all and I hope this helps.

Another note, if you are playing with friends, try rotating around and finding out who has the best connection to be running the server. Don't use your mate with his wifi laptop connection. Good luck

When playing on the same connection as my friend we are getting a ping of around 50-70..doesnt make much sense, especially when i get same sort of ping to someone hundreds of miles away. I too thought the no awarding claims were due to lag but its hard to know forsure. Sessions in MP seems to bug out entirely, with some players unable to even see animals or spawn them when fast travelling.
