Audio Positioning

Has anyone else noticed since the last update the audio Positioning of some of the animals etc is wrong, seems to be back to front or close to. I keep looking in the wrong direction, Had my dog in front of me and he was barking from the wrong earphone. My audio settings are all fine and perfect on other games. Just Hunter, and only since the latest update.. Sigh

I've been complaining about this since the New England dlc dropped. Sound is at least as important as sight when hunting and now it's completely broken. I'll hear a call from my left but the visual indicator (which is always correct) is to the right. Good luck trying to spot a flushed ptarmigan or grouse based on the audio. It's made the game pretty much unplayable for me.

I also think this is part of the reason so many new players are having trouble finding animals.

Oh wow ok thanks for confirming this, have you submitted a ticket? im going to. Seem to be lots of bugs with the New England map.

Want to bump this back up, just heard my dog barking from the left when he was standing in front of me. Also some other sounds like ducks and gobblers seem to bug out...

Me to, they haven't fixed it yet. Lets see on the next patch update hopefully it will be one of the fixes..

Yep, yet another bug introduced by Expansive worlds. It's been there for many months just as with the other bugs.

Don't buy the DLCs.

Way of the Hunter is going to become popular.

I have lately pretty much abandoned this game for WOH. I think this game is a little better looking but I'm done giving my money to the most unresponsive devs I've seen in quite some time. Game ruining bugs are completely ignored despite outcry from the players. When bug fixes are released it's only when they have something new to sell. They no longer care about quality so I no longer care about enriching them.

if you all are feeling effeminate give their new alaska map a try, seems TRANSitioning is so contagious that even the maps are turning effeminate. heres a link to another thread for more details, that is if you get there before the censor

Me and a few friends just came back to the game recently after not having played in many months, and we all had this same issue--all sounds are reversed positionally.

It's fairly game-breaking, devs, why aren't you fixing it?

I had the same issue until I turned off Dolby Atmos in the games Audio settings. I use Dolby Atmos as my audio driver on my computer so I don't know if that may have been connected.
