Game settings are not saving
I'm noticing that some of my game settings are not saving.

My outline color preferences (changing track outline colors, dog outline color) never save properly. I have to change this every time I log on.

Otherwise, my progress is being saved properly so this is odd.

There's an exception in Windows Defender, and it's not being blocked by protected folders.

Anyone have a fix?

The problem is not on your end, the game struggles to save settings for a while now. All you can do is to repeat changing the settings, at some point it will stick. Can take some time, though.
Thanks for the reply. I'll keep trying.
To anyone reading this with the same issues:

Changing the settings from the main menu (not from the in-game settings menu) seems to have stuck. In other words, changing settings before you actually load a save game from the main screen seems to have worked.

I did this but all my keybinds still revert to default so i have to do this every time i run the game.

I have tried other things and i sincerely don't even know where the game stores keybinds. The only file that it's constantly being updated is playerinformation.adf (the game overwrites it once per minute while the game is running even on main manu) but when i change a keybind that's the only file that seems to be updated at all.

I have tried to make it read-only which is funny because game doesn't even tell you that something is wrong, it just silently creates a tmp_playerinformation file but keeps trying to save at the original playerinformation.adf file constanly (so that menu saving icon that usually only appears once per minute is constantly on screen trying to save, but ofc it can't)

I have read old comments about a settings.json file that doesn't seem to exist anymore (and it was encrypted, so i assume it was just another .adf file)

Instead of pumping out so many DLC's they could work a bit and solve things like this. That a game don't even saves settings is a big issue, but that this are also encrypted insinde a file we can't edit is absolutely idiotic.
